Join us for an evening of watercolors and imagination with Groundwork Creatives as we explore the theme BLOSSOM at Be Nice House. Doors open at 6:30 pm for light bites and mingling. Event starts at 7 pm.
In this immersive, guided watercolor journey, participants will move through three thoughtfully designed stations outfitted with natural motifs that each represent a distinct phase in the life cycle of a blossom: Planting the Seed, Blossoming, and Returning to Earth. At each station, a creative prompt invites introspection and expression through watercolor, texture, and movement.

About the speaker
As responsibilities mount, play often takes a backseat. Adults face societal pressures to prioritize productivity over leisure, and play is frequently viewed as unproductive. Research has found play to be a key component in the development of human beings. It is fundamental for cognitive development throughout one’s life, a vital tool for well-being, creativity, and resilience for adults in their personal and professional lives. We, at Groundwork Creatives, believe life should be more than just work and responsibilities and encourage play throughout one’s life!

Be Nice House With an abundance of indoor workspace, an expansive courtyard, and an inspiring roof deck, we designed Be Nice to be the perfect place for hatching plans, hosting gatherings, and expanding minds.
Formerly a mechanic shop, a welding studio, a church, and a yoga studio, Be Nice now carries forth the spirit of each of its former tenants. It’s named for the simple, powerful directive we found written on the side of the building: Be Nice.
