Rob is a passionate digital marketing professional driven by the challenge to achieve marketing and sales objectives and goals. Rob brings creative vision and measurable results to digital marketing initiatives. He has worked in numerous agency environments with clients such as Black & Decker and The Home Depot. Rob has also worked with B2B client accounts within several industries, helping those clients increase circulation and expand their online presence.

For the past 5 years, Rob’s primary focus has been in marketing automation. He is a certified Marketo expert and also has Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience. He has over 10 years of digital and email marketing experience and has served as Digital Marketing Manager for a healthcare software company while handling all marketing automation efforts as well as driving lead generation for the marketing department. Rob is seeking a permanent career opportunity but is also available for contract positions that will provide career growth opportunities.

Q: Please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?

I began my career working for a direct response agency as an interactive designer. I learned email design and coding and then took those skills and worked in the B2B industry for 10 years. I developed email campaigns and took over the digital and design responsibilities for industry media websites. This work led to a role as Digital Deployment Manager where I was responsible for all email deployments for over 70 publications. As the marketing automation industry grew, I took my client management and email marketing skills and moved into working with cloud-based systems, such as Pardot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and many others. In the corporate world, timing is everything and other opportunities opened up for me. I’m now looking for that next great opportunity to grow and to help another company reach their sales and marketing goals.

Q: Overall, has it been a relatively smooth journey? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?

There have been times in my career that have been challenging. I’ve had incredible learning experiences along the way and have come to appreciate my resilience through every challenge. I’ve worked with some amazing individuals and I’ve learned invaluable skills.

Q: What is “success” or “successful” for you?

Success for me is being proactive, taking ownership, striving to be the best you can be every day. I enjoy continuous learning and evolving through self-assessment and making sure that I communicate effectively with everyone in the organization. You need to know how to work with everyone. Not everyone thinks or works the same. I enjoy having the capacity to be flexible, adjusting as needed to each collaborator’s particular work style. I am passionate and take pride in every aspect of my job. Seeing obtained results is rewarding and that is success to me.
