Justin is a senior marketing strategist who breathes life into brands and brings solutions to market. He believes every brand, product, and customer has a unique story to tell and he has proven experience in positioning complex products in competitive environments.
Justin has served as a copywriter, content manager, marketing manager, PR account director and brand strategist. He has led brand and product strategy and launch in the areas of SaaS, entertainment and fintech.
Q: Can you tell us about your business/career? What are you most proud of?
A: I have a diverse marketing and communications background including journalism, copywriting, content, PR, marketing management, product marketing, and brand strategy. While it’s diverse, the one thing holding it together is storytelling. I’m proud of a brand video series I created and launched for NCR. Making commercial-grade content for B2B software that differentiates and is humorous is not easy but the series was a success. I am incredibly grateful I was given the opportunity, creative freedom, and budget.
Q: Has it been a smooth road? If not, can you talk us through some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced?
A: Changing careers from journalism to marketing was not easy. I now have a diverse background which includes a startup, a digital agency and a Fortune 500 firm.
Q: What is your dream job? What would you like to do next?
A: My dream job would be a role where I am shaping the brand and positioning strategy and have a hand in campaigns, too. A culture that values marketing and creative excellence. Video creation would be the cherry on top.
