Q: Can you tell us about your business/career? What are you most proud of?
I’ve been in marketing for 20 years, with the last 11 years focused on leveraging social media and content marketing for business. I’m most proud of the campaign idea I created for Zoo Atlanta to promote their new reptile exhibit, which featured a scavenger hunt that took place on social media and all around Atlanta.
Q: Has it been a smooth road? If not, can you talk us through some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced?
I was in the specialty coffee industry for more than 16 years doing marketing, but the transition into the more general advertising/marketing agency world was tougher than I imagined. This is primarily because of all the different dynamics of a client/agency relationship, which took me about 3 months to really get my bearings.
Q: What is your dream job? What would you like to do next?
My dream job is around social, content, or brand strategy, leveraging all my experience over the years.
