Gary is an award-winning Creative Director with a proven record of driving business for a breadth of globally recognized brands. Client names include Aflac, Arby’s, BMW, Black & Decker, Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, Havertys, IHG, Piedmont Healthcare, and Voya Financial. His background is in art direction with extensive experience in digital, motion and print design.

Gary leads client and internal presentations and manages art directors, writers, designers, front-end developers, illustrators, and animators. He is a mentor who knows how to motivate a team toward one creative vision, benefiting both the client and the agency. Gary is passionate about innovation and delivering the unexpected. Additionally, Gary can ride a unicycle and play the drums, but not at the same time. Gary is currently seeking more freelance projects and is open to permanent opportunities as well.

Q: Please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started out in graphic design and got into advertising. This lead to several career opportunities at ad agencies and a variety of roles over the years, such as Senior Designer, Senior Interactive Art Director and Digital Creative Director.
Q: Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It depends on the market you’re in. Atlanta is a good place to stay busy.
