Busy as bees

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Seems like lately things have been picking up.  More calls, more opportunities and more chances to find people work.  Of course, this is all great.  The problem appears to be with the underlying fear of commitment and managing expectations.  When a client used to book a freelancer in 6 months increments, it’s now 3 months and a hope they can get approval to extend.  A week long booking is condensed into 2 days and the person must light the world on fire to be considered a good placement.  There are no second chances, there are no excuses for being human, only stellar skills are acceptable and there is little client commitment to plan your life around. And hourly rates are very tight.

All this being said, we want to state our commitment to you during this time of economic uncertainty. We are working diligently to vet all opportunities, keep our people busy-as-bees and our clients coming back to the hive.
